This is one pic I wish I had taken. Yes, I did take this pic but not the original one. This is a picture of an exhibit at a photography exhibition at Pinacoteca, Sao Paulo, Brazil. I was so mesmerized by this pic that I had to keep a copy for inspiration. This is gold standard for me. Love the texture in this pic. Some photographers are so insanely talented they can invoke intense emotions through their creations.

Here’s the other one of the set of 3. Its a crystal Lamborghini. This picture was taken on the same day with Canon 300D too. Enjoy.

Boys will always have a fascination for cars. Early in 2004, when I got my first DSLR the Canon 300D, I enjoyed experimenting with it. Though it was only a 6 MP camera with a 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 kit lens, it took mind-blowing pics. Here’s one of a crystal Rolls Royce. Its a miniature car that I just dropped on a black sofa at home with some late afternoon sunlight coming in from the windows behind. There was no special lighting or setup. Yet the pictures came out great.

You will never see a picture of an astronaut in space with a blue sky behind him. Clearly this isn’t in space. I have seen numerous pics of astronauts in space and have always wondered how it feels to be hanging there in the middle, somewhere in the universe with billions of stars around you. What if you are stranded in the middle of nowhere.

This pic was taken at the entrance of the Kennedy Space Center. I loved the look of infinity behind the astronaut and instantly clicked a pic.

Dolls at store fronts always make very interesting subjects for photography. They have this cute expression that draws you. I have clicked many pictures of dolls in many stores across continents. Though the chinese dolls are the cutest, this one from a store in Disneyland, I think, is very interesting.

Kennedy Space Center, Orlando. When you have kids that love everything about space you can’t not go to the Kennedy Space Center. This picture looks like it was taken on the Moon :-), but I guess I would never be that lucky. They have this great simulation of a landing on Moon at the Kennedy Space Center which I thoroughly enjoyed. Very inspiring.  This was a easy pic to click and one I will treasure for long.

Hong Kong has one of the best skylines in the world. One of my favorite cities in the world, it has the best transport system, great nightlife and an energy that only a few other cities in the world can match up to.  I was there last summer with the kids. Took this pic from Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade.

I end up shooting these pics without a tripod hence they are high ISO and grainy.

This is one of the early pics I took when digital SLRs first came in. Guess it was year 2004, the camera was Canon 300D with a cheap kit lens that came with the camera. I loved the camera and it took amazing quality PICs and changed my life forever. Here’s one of the pics I took in Singapore from right behind my apartment in Costa Rhu during one of the post dinner walks.  I will never forget this view from my study.
